High School Driver Education
Any Prairie South School Division High school student who will be 15 years of age on or before Apr. 30, 2025 may be eligible to enroll in driver education with us for this school year. Note that students will need a valid SGI customer/identification number to register for driver education. Students who do not have an SGI customer number can receive one by submitting a signature form/guarantor form for first time drivers to any SGI insurance facility along with two original pieces of government issued ID (passport or birth certificate and a Saskatchewan health card or treaty card). The signature form/guarantor form for first time drivers can also be found at the school office.
Registration will be ongoing throughout the school year however class lists will be assigned in advance of each class’s starting date so please register as soon as possible.
In the registration form for AEP and CCI there are six options for classes; selecting multiple options will better help us accommodate you if there is no availability for your first choice. Students with earlier birthdays will be placed in the first few classes with preference given to students who will be 15 years of age by the end of their chosen class. We are expecting a larger number of students than usual, and with class sizes limited to 35 students, please be aware that when you register you are making a commitment to attend any one of the options you have chosen.
Please be sure that you are registering for the correct school with the student’s information (and not the parent’s information).
